During this module learners will explore a framework for conducting a feedback conversation by setting the stage, fostering a growth mindset, having the conversation, and setting an action plan. After completing the module the faculty member will be able to identify barriers to feedback and possible solutions.  

Learning Objectives

By the end of this module, faculty will be able to:

  • Incorporate language that fosters a growth mindset in students during  feedback conversations
  • Identify barriers to feedback and possible solutions
  • Apply a framework for conducting a feedback conversation by setting the stage, fostering a growth mindset, having the conversation, and setting an action plan
  • Identify one or more concepts you can incorporate to enhance the effectiveness of your feedback conversations with students
